About Mr. Taylor

Mr. Taylor began seriously pursuing the guitar in 1980 and has been a working musician since 1984 with several bands of various styles.

 

He worked with the R&B/soul group Dr. Wu from 2000-2002. Some highlights from that experience include working as guitarist for the Tokens, the Marcells and the Drifters at various festivals.

 

Have played for numerous DLO productions and Danville Symphony programs. In 2012, he traveled to play the Miami Music Festival in support of an album recording.

 

He is currently working with Doc Ashton and the Root Canals and in an acoustic guitar duo with Alan Wait.

 

Mr. Taylor began teaching guitar and bass at B&J in 1996, and he is currently teaching a guitar class at Danville High School also.
